eWeLink CUBE OS 2.15 expands Zigbee support and Matter Bridge controls

eWeLink CUBE OS 2.15.0 adds current SONOFF Zigbee devices, linked-device sync, Tuya fan controls through Matter Bridge and new Raspberry Pi downloads.

eWeLink has released CUBE OS 2.15.0 with direct support for more SONOFF Zigbee hardware, three additions to its eWeLink-linked device sync and a new Tuya fan-switch mapping for Matter Bridge. The release is dated 29 October 2026 and is available now for Raspberry Pi 4 and 5, Docker and common virtual-machine formats.

Quick summary: The update is most useful to CUBE OS users adding current SONOFF sensors, switches or thermostats. It also exposes the supported controls of the Tuya T2-Z62 fan switch to Matter-enabled platforms and fixes two device-specific faults. Direct Zigbee support and eWeLink-linked syncing are different integration paths, so the latter should not automatically be read as fully local control.

Five SONOFF Zigbee products gain direct support

CUBE OS 2.15.0 adds the SONOFF TP-WGZBA dual-mode Zigbee and Bluetooth thermostat panel, the SNZB-02UL temperature and humidity sensorAliExpress price with a 2.9-inch E-ink displayPriceAliExpress price, and six regional or gang variants across the ZBM5 smart-wall-switch range.

The linked additions cover a CoolKit Wi-Fi plug with energy monitoring, the SONOFF MINI-1GSP Matter-over-Wi-Fi power-meter switch and the SNZB-09P Zigbee indoor siren. Because eWeLink describes these as synced through the eWeLink Smart Home add-on or the built-in “Add eWeLink-Linked Devices” feature, the notes do not establish that every command stays on the local network or that these products pair directly with a CUBE OS Zigbee coordinator.

Matter Bridge support becomes a little broader

The Tuya T2-Z62 fan switch is the release’s clearest Matter change. CUBE OS can now expose its supported controls through Matter Bridge, allowing a compatible Matter platform to see and operate those mapped functions.

That wording matters. It does not promise that every Tuya attribute, arbitrary Zigbee product or vendor-specific function will cross the bridge. Users planning a mixed smart-home setup should check the exact controls they need rather than treating Matter Bridge as universal translation. Our Home Assistant 2026.11 beta report covers another recent example of Matter’s device-type coverage expanding one category at a time.

Sensor, siren and scene improvements

Several smaller changes could be more noticeable in daily use. The SNZB-02DR2 can now use two external sensors and show both temperature and humidity readings on its display and in the eWeLink app. External-switch events from the ZBMINIR2 can act as scene triggers, while the SNZB-09P gains five selectable alarm sounds.

Reporting thresholds have changed for the SNZB-02WD and SNZB-02LD, and pairing plus factory-reset handling has been improved for the SNZB-02B. The release also standardises the way SONOFF Zigbee firmware versions are displayed.

Two targeted fixes address a missing -0.2°C hysteresis option on the SONOFF TRVZB and a fault that could leave SNZB-09P alarm controls unresponsive after the bridge recovered from a power cut. Downloads and practical upgrade advice

The official GitHub release provides images for Raspberry Pi 4 and Raspberry Pi 5AliExpress price, VDI and VMDK virtual-machine files, a Docker download and one-click installers for Windows, Apple Silicon Macs and Intel Macs. This is shipping software rather than a pre-announcement: the v2.15.0 assets are already listed for download.

Existing users who own none of the newly supported devices can reasonably wait until the compatibility changes or fixes are relevant to them. Anyone relying on the affected siren or thermostat behaviour has a clearer reason to update, while still following the project’s installation guidance and preserving a recoverable configuration before changing a working home hub.
