Quick summary: Seeed Studio has launched a new web-based XIAO Development Hub that combines a board selector, interactive pinouts, a browser ESP32PriceAliExpress price flasher, design files and software links. The hub went live on 30 October 2026; it is a tooling and documentation update, not a new XIAO board.

Seeed Studio’s expanding XIAO range now has a single development hub intended to cover the path from choosing a board to wiring and flashing it. The most useful additions for ESP32AliExpress price makers are the filtered Product Selector, the two-sided Pinout Viewer and a Web Serial flasher for ESP32PriceAliExpress price-series XIAO boards.
The Product Selector tackles an increasingly crowded range
The live selector currently presents 23 core XIAO development boards, including six based on Espressif’s ESP32 family. Filters cover chip platform, wireless protocols, onboard sensors, antenna options, packaging and development platforms, while a comparison view places shortlisted boards side by side.
That matters because “XIAO” describes a common compact board family rather than one processor. An ESP32-C3, ESP32-S3, ESP32-C5 and ESP32-C6 have materially different radios and peripherals, and Sense or Plus variants can change the hardware available on the board. The selector should make a first shortlist quicker, but the exact model and revision still need checking before a design is committed.
For a closer look at individual Espressif models, esp32.co.uk already has board-specific guides for the XIAO ESP32-C3, XIAO ESP32-S3 and XIAO ESP32-C6.
Browser flashing, with clear limits
The XIAO ESP32 Series Web Flasher can load a verified firmware image or local .bin files over USB, verify the write and then monitor serial output in the same page. It can also copy or download timestamped flash and device logs, which should be useful when a board fails during setup.
Seeed specifies desktop Chrome or Edge and requires the page to run over HTTPS or localhost because it relies on Web Serial. The live page reports Web Serial as unavailable in unsupported browsers. It also recommends a data-capable USB-C cable and documents the BOOT and RESET sequence for entering download mode.
The word “ESP” is important here: this is not a universal flasher for every XIAO processor family. Seeed says support for more XIAO series is still on the way, so users should confirm that the exact board and intended firmware appear in the tool rather than assuming coverage from the XIAO form factor alone.
Interactive pinouts and design resources
The Pinout Viewer displays both sides of a selected board, supports searches such as GPIO or interface names, and exposes wiring notes and alternate functions. The accompanying hardware area collects schematics, KiCad files, dimensions, STEP models and firmware where Seeed has supplied them. A software directory then links official and community workflows including PlatformIO, CircuitPython, Matter, Zephyr and Home Assistant resources.
This consolidation is the practical news. Static pinout images and product pages remain useful, but a searchable board-specific view reduces the chance of copying a pin assignment from a similar-looking model. It does not make software support interchangeable: an underlying ESP32 radio or peripheral does not by itself guarantee that a particular framework or integration supports the XIAO board configuration.
Availability
The XIAO Development Hub, Product Selector, Playground, Pinout Viewer and ESP flasher are live now as free web resources. Seeed has also connected the hub to its Project Hub and public roadmap, and is collecting bug reports through a GitHub Discussion.
